1137 Squadron is part of the Air Training Corps, which, in addition to the RAF branch of the Combined Cadet Force makes up the Air Cadet Organisation.

The Air Cadet Organisation has over 40,000 members involved in competitive sports, training in aviation and aerospace, drill, visiting foreign countries, flying, gliding, target shooting, adventure training, attending annual camps and much, much more!
