About Us
1137 Squadron is one of 16 Air Training Corps Squadrons and one Detached Flight in Northern Ireland and over 900 Squadrons in the rest of the United Kingdom. Together we have nearly 41,000 members aged between 13 and 20.
The Air Training Organisation is sponsored by, and has very close links with the Royal Air Force. However we are not a recruiting organisation so you don’t have to want to join the Armed Forces to be a member.

Our aims are to:
-Promote and encourage a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force among young people.
-Provide training which will be useful in the services and civilian life.
-Encourage the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship.
And there’s one more important thing - its a lot of fun!
